As investment titan Warren Buffet increased his stake in Nalco holdings to 9 million shares, BusinessWeek touted Nalco as a company well positioned to expect solid growth in the BRIC+ countries.
The article outlined growth strategies Nalco executed in 2008 and plans to complete in 2009 and beyond. Growth initiatives mentioned focused on inaugurating new manufacturing capabilities and increasing research and engineer headcount in offshore markets such as Brazil, Russia, India and China.
