METRIX® Technology for Productivity and Strength Improvement
METRIX Technology for Productivity and Strength Improvement is a synergistic, multi-component program developed to enhance productivity, press dewatering and strength development for paperboard manufacturers.
A METRIX technology program effectively allows papermakers to use less expensive fibers and higher filler levels. The program also enhances sheet pressing and drying efficiency, resulting in lower steam demand and higher line speed.
Nalco understands that achieving strength and basis weight targets can be a challenge for any papermaker, especially when lower quality fibers are part of the furnish mix. METRIX Technology for Productivity and Strength Improvement allows paperboard manufacturers to increase strength, lower basis weight, enhance production and improve sheet quality.
