Our acquisition of Champion Technologies and CorsiTech was completed April 10, 2013. By combining Champion Technologies/CorsiTech with Nalco Energy Services, we will capitalize on our shared global assets, combined research and development capability and “best-in-class” people, processes and technology to better serve the fast-growing oil and gas industry.
The division is divided into an Upstream group composed of our Gas and Oil Field Production Chemicals and Adomite businesses, and a Downstream Refinery and Petrochemical processing business. Our upstream applications improve oil and gas production, extend equipment life and decrease operating costs through value added services and a full suite of production chemistry. Our downstream applications increase refinery and petrochemical plant efficiency and the useful life of customer assets, while improving refined and petrochemical product quality and yields.
