3D TRASAR® Technology for Membranes
Nalco's 3D TRASAR® for Membranes protects reverse osmosis membranes by constantly ensuring an optimal dosage of antiscalant programme concentration. It does this by continuously and accurately measuring the exact level of TRASAR® product in the feedwater by the use of fluorescence technology. The TRASAR® concentration is in direct proportion to the actual antiscalant concentration. The fluorescence reading is used to precisely control addition of the programme in real time so that treatment levels can be maintained and your system can be protected from scale and fouling.
For municipal and seawater reverse osmosis applications, which typically require low dosages of TRASAR® products, 3D TRASAR® for Membranes is capable of effectively controlling TRASAR® concentrations down to 0.5 ppm.
