Deepwater and Ultra-Deepwater

With Ultra-Deepwater (UDW) operations taking place in such complex, risky and costly environments, many technical challenges remain to be solved. Nalco is focused on developing viable solutions using our advanced technology and industry expertise.

Some of those challenges include extreme water depths, high pressure, high temperatures, problematic formations, deep reservoirs, tight sandstone reservoirs and fluids with increased flow assurance issues. CAPEX development must be designed in an integrated manner within the overall field design concept to manage flow assurance issues.
