Ultrion® Coagulants
ULTRION Coagulants were developed to handle the wide seasonal variation of surface waters to produce a consistent, high quality, and economical water source into your processes. As changes in pH, alkalinity, temperature, color and turbidity occur in lakes and rivers through the seasons, your treatment programme must cover wide parameter ranges and ULTRION Coagulants address this need.
ULTRION Coagulants typically are used where consistent water quality is needed and areduction the total cost of operation is required. This can be accomplished by:
- Less sludge generated resulting in less disposal and processing costs
- Lowering the carbon footprint through freight savings
- Increasing the efficiency of water clarification
- Reduce ion load if water is being used in demineralizing systems
- Less alkalinity consumption resulting in lime or caustic material savings
- More consistent water quality = more stable processes = more compliant products = less headaches
ULTRION Coagulants can be used by plants currently applying alum, ferric chloride, ferric sulphate, aluminum chloride or any other inorganic coagulant used for water or wastewater clarification.
