DepCon™ Technology
The DepCon™ program has been developed using patented sensor technology to monitor real time inorganic scale deposition, allowing oil producers to obtain accurate, reliable and critical process information. It allows the operators to determine where scale is forming or is likely to form throughout the production system.Measurements, or readings, can be taken on an instantaneous and continuous basis, as desired. The readings can be converted into mass per unit surface area, giving the operator an idea of the severity of the deposition. In addition, the operator can adjust system parameters such as chemical treatment rate, chemical type, and bulk fluid composition in order to determine how such adjustments affect the scaling rate.
The DepCon program can reduce Total Cost of Operation (TCO) by:
