COREXIT® Oil Spill Dispersants

COREXIT® oil spill dispersants are designed specifically for shoreline protection and cleaning. It is formulated from specially selected bio-degradable surfactants in a low-toxicity, de-aromatized hydrocarbon solvent system. It has been specifically designed to remove a wide range of crude oil and petroleum products from contaminated shoreline surfaces, including certain vegetation

For freshwater or seawater shoreline oil cleaning, Nalco recommends COREXIT EC9580A – the bio-degradable surface washing agent for response to oil spills on rocky shores, bay shores, lakeshores, marshes, rivers and inlets.
