ACTRENE® technology for Light Ends Recovery Units
In an industry breakthrough, Nalco developed ACTRENE technology which improves the efficiency of ethylene plant de-ethanizers and depropanizers by extending the run length to eight years or more. This technology reliably mitigates and controls fouling in light-ends fractionation units.
COMPTRENE™ technology for Process Gas Compressors
This innovative compressor corrosion and fouling control technology enables up to ten years of continuous operation of pyrolysis gas compressors, setting new industry standards for compressor performance.
PrimAct® technology for Primary Fractionators
PrimAct technology improves gasoline fractionator (a.k.a. primary fractionator) operations. Our integrated technology provides innovative monitoring and chemistry that not only mitigates fouling and viscosity control problems, but provides a clear window into the tower operation allowing ethylene producers to optimize their operation and realize significant energy and reliability credits.
3D TRASAR® Technology for Cooling Towers and Boiler Systems
This innovative technology is bringing cooling system performance to a new level. The 3D TRASAR program automatically reacts to changing system demands, providing asset reliability even under severe service conditions.
AQUAMAX™ Treatment Program for Dilution Steam Systems
This "best practice" treatment program reduces the cost of sodium-free corrosion control in dilution steam system operations.
ARSENAL™ technology for Caustic Towers and Amine Units
In addition to preventing problems in ethylene plant acid gas removal systems and improving reliability, this technology helps operators achieve five-year continuous operations, removing another obstacle to increasing run length and capacity yield.
COKE-LESS® Anticoking program for Furnaces
Coke formation in pyrolysis furnaces impedes heat transfer and restricts process flow. This accumulation of coke and its periodic removal causes production loss. Nalco’s anticoking program, COKE-LESS, suppresses coke formation which increases capacity, improves ethylene yield, lowers TMT, reduces CO formation, extends run length, reduces fuel consumption, reduces steam to hydrocarbon ratio and eliminates sulfiding agents. The COKE-LESS program also leads to improved heat transfer and lower pressure drop, and a potential extension of coil life.
Core Shell® technology for Wastewater Treatment
CORE SHELL is Nalco’s advanced liquid polymer technology for industrial wastewater treatment. This proprietary liquid polymer line provides improved program performance over conventional liquid and dry polymers.
