ELLIPSIS Technology for Cationic Micropolymer Applications, one of Nalco's latest patent-pending SMART Solutions® offerings, allows papermakers to improve paper machine drainage in a controllable manner while increasing ash retention levels without sacrificing paper sheet properties such as formation, roughness, porosity, and tensile strength. This results in new productivity and paper quality and performance levels while improving paper machine On-Machine Efficiency (OME) in a cost-competitive and environmentally responsible manner.
