Internal Transfers Initiated by Management
Internal transfers initiated by management must meet the qualifications for the position but are not held to the additional eligibility requirements. HR handles these situations in conjunction with appropriate group Leadership.
Internal Candidates Initiating a Search
Internal candidates initiating a search must meet the appropriate eligibility requirements and follow the internal application process as listed below to be considered for a new position within Nalco. The Recruiter handles these situations.
Eligibility
In addition to meeting the qualifications for the position, internal candidates initiating a search must meet additional requirements in order to be considered for a new position. Eligibility requirements differ by region, they are as follows:
Canada and the United States
- At least one year of continuous employment within their current position for non-customer facing positions; at least three years of continuous employment within their current district/geography for customer facing, field-based positions.
- Currently in good standing (not on a Performance Improvement plan).
- For cross border opportunities, must meet requirements to obtain local work authorization.
- Must be prepared to have a discussion with your current supervisor/manager regarding your interest in a new opportunity.
Asia/Pacific, Europe, Latin America
- At least one year of continuous employment within their current position for non-customer facing and customer facing field-based positions.
- Currently in good standing (not on a Performance Improvement plan).
- For cross border opportunities, must meet requirements to obtain local work authorization.
- Must be prepared to have a discussion with your current supervisor/manager regarding your interest in a new opportunity.
