ENERCEPT Technology for Corrosion Inhibition

Nalco’s family of corrosion inhibitors known as ENERCEPT® was designed to provide exceptional performance in extreme environments—high shear, high temperatures and pressures, and high acid gas content—in a consistent and cost-effective manner. The ENERCEPT line of inhibitors offers several important benefits:

  • They can be injected at a fraction of the required dosage of conventional oil-soluble or water-soluble inhibitors, making them a cost effective alternative
  • They are extremely film persistent inhibitors at high shear stress conditions which would strip away conventional inhibitors and leave your system prone to aggressive corrosion
  • There are formulations available that can be confidently used for offshore production with no concerns of harming overboard water quality or marine life
  • They can be blended into suitable solvents to address delivery concerns that may arise due to low temperature, flash point or viscosity
  • They can be delivered on-site in the most cost-effective manner and blended locally with local solvents

ENERCEPT corrosion inhibitors have been proven worldwide in a variety of challenging environments, including high levels of H2S/sour gas, high temperature/high pressure environments, ultra-deepwater and deepwater, low temperature, and high shear environments.
