Board and Packaging Paper Grades

Producing an optimal sheet, at minimal cost, based on finished product performance requirements has consistently been a complex challenge for board and packaging manufacturers. In order to meet all of the sheet specifications, manufacturers often have to over-engineer the sheet in at least one or two of the specifications.

Nalco’s Structured Board approach allows our customers to minimize or eliminate the need to over engineer the finished sheet.The approach utilizes tools to understand and optimize the mechanical, operational and chemical variables within the manufacturing process while highlighting the challenges and opportunities that the manufacturer will face in making changes to the manufacturing process.

Tissue and Towel Grades
