China

When working in China, the benefits you will enjoy include the following:

Nalco China pays reasonable administration support for the new employees moving from overseas back to China. This support will help the new employees to be able to have a smooth transition to working at Nalco in China.  The following is a benefits reference guide:

Relocation Travel costs
Nalco will pay for the economy one-way trip from the overseas residential city to China for the employee, his spouse or partner and dependant children. The employee should try to book as early as possible to secure the cheapest rates possible.

Relocation of household goods
We will pay for the relocation of a 20 ft container for all families moving (family is two adults and at least one child). For single and or couples moving, we will allow for a 250 lbs air-shipment to be made in lieu of the container shipment. The costs of the airship may never exceed the costs of the 20ft sea freight. Nalco must approve the moving vendor in advance after multiple price quotes have been solicited. Nalco’s preferred suppliers should always be included in the quotation phase.

Temporary housing
Nalco will pay for temporary housing for a maximum period of 30 days. Guesthouses and shared apartments should be utilized as much as possible, especially if the event of a single employee moving.

Visa application
Nalco will pay for the application of visa/work permits/citizenship in the working city in China by using the Nalco preferred vendor. The employee will be responsible for providing all required paperwork in a timely and correct manner.

Note: Nalco reserves the right to modify this policy, in part or in whole, subject to the changes of statutory requirements or upon management’s decision, at any time without prior consent from employees.

India

When working in India, the benefits you will enjoy include the following:

Nalco wants to pay the reasonable costs for the relocation of the employees moving from the US to start employment in our new laboratory facilities in Pune.

Travel costs

One-time relocation allowance
For employees moving to Pune, Nalco will pay a one-time relocation allowance of one month salary with a minimum of INR 25.000 (±USD 520).
